Story

The story begins with Sahir(Aamir Khan) learning the tricks of the trade, in a circus company, from his father Iqbal (Jackie Shroff), who is a magician. Iqbal is the owner of the 'The Great Indian Circus’ and owes a huge debt to the Western Chicago Bank, in the 1990s. The circus company is the only dream of Iqbal and when his dream fails he commits suicide. Sahir holds the bank responsible for his father's death and is determined to get it closed by repeated robberies. He escapes without leaving any clue. Only clue left is written in hindi. Here enters ACP Jai Dixit (Abhishek Bachchan) along with his assistant Ali (Uday Chopra). The main task of the duo is to catch the master robber red handed. Aamir has the gorgeous and beautiful Aaliya (Katrina Kaif) as his co-star.
ACP Dixit is aware that Sahir is the robber, but he can't arrest the master robber for lack of proof. So they set-up a trap for Sahir and the action begins with bike chases. The question is, will Sahir be caught red handed (like John Abraham in Dhoom) or would be allowed a chance to begin life afresh (like Hrithik Roshan in Dhoom 2). What would happen at the end? Find out for yourself at the theatres.

Analysis :

dhoom3 -review The film has been well-scripted and delivers on speed and action that the 'Dhoom' franchise is known for. The bike stunts and scenes at the circus have been done well. The film has been woven seamlessly, especially the introduction and the climax. The makers of the movie seem to be inspired by hollywood but stunts are full 'desi' bollywood style. Bollywood perfectionist Aamir Khan delivers well. The songs have been choreographed well. Katrina, in the role of Aamir's love-interest, ups the glamour of the movie. she dazzles in every screen but has nothing much to do. The film has everything that you expect from a Dhoom sequence – speed, action, thrill, romance and some comic relief.

Performance :

dhoom3 -review Aamir Khan the perfectionist of bollywood delivers well. His body language and expressions are something to watch for. The ‘Dhoom Tap’ dance is well choreographed by Aamir. Even ‘Malang, choreographed on Katrina and Aamir is good to watch. Abhishek and Uday did a good job in the chase sequences. Katrina Kaif and Uday Chopra don't have much of a role in the film. Katrina looks splendid in every frame but has little else to do. Uday is a welcome comic relief.
Final Word:
Dhoom 3 Hindi Movie Review Watch the film for Aamir Khan, his perfect body language and Katrina Kaif's glamour quotient.

Story

Aashiqui 2 is a musical love story with Rahul Jaykar (Aditya Roy Kapoor) and Arohi Shirke (Shraddha Kapoor) as the lead characters. Aashiqui 2 takes you through a musical journey of two lovers who go through love and hate, twists and turbulence, success and failure in their lives. Will they accept their success and live life together or do their egos separate them forever??

Analysis :

Aashiqui 2-review The Bhatts expressed this one is not a sequel to Aashiqui, but just a retelling of a love story. Even if then, does it actually work, even with the title adding value? In fact, when we first heard about Aashiqui 2 we, like almost everyone else, thought it would be a sequel to the first, which made Rahul Roy and Anu Agarwal instant stars. That neither of them managed to follow up on that success is a different story, but the film told a tale that could possibly be continued into the future, perhaps into a new generation storytelling. Nevertheless, Mahesh Bhatt the producer and Mohit Suri, the director of the film, made it clear that the second film merely had the same name; it was not connected with the first in any other way, they claimed. Logically speaking, the name itself should have ensured some degree of success but no, that is not what is happening, not even a bit!
This one kind of reminded us of A Star is Born, or even its desi version Abhimaan, with none of the quality of either acting or filmmaking. Yes, Suri tries very hard; yes, the music is fairly decent; yes, the story has potential which is about two young people, Rahul (Aditya Roy Kapur) and Aarohi (Shraddha Kapoor) who are both singers, he the established star, she the wannabe. He helps her, she becomes the star while his career fades fast…you know the usually high-flown talk.
The romance is sweet, but old-fashionedly so, with none of the steamy, sexy stuff that audiences are used to these days. Rather it could have been an emotional ride, but is rather more like a sizzling, stalling, sickening BEST bus conveying through the mean streets of Bollyland.
While Shraddha looks pretty, fragile and earnest, Aditya does have his moments of glory, more so because he is good to look at while he manages to deliver his lines without sounding like a child reciting a lesson in the classroom and has a track record that we like, with London Dreams, Action Replayy and Guzaarish to his credit. What acqually work better than expected is the chemistry between the two young leads and it could be real and will probably spread some gossip!

Performance :

Aashiqui 2 review Aditya Roy Kapur was easily observable because of his obvious good looks and an impressive pieces of past work. It would not be fair to paint a flawless picture of him because he too has his weak moments in the film. Rather, in the mushy scenes, he absolutely scores and he is a potent actor capable of doing much better but sadly the film doesn’t use him right.
Shraddha Kapoor has an ounce of childish jollity to her and she looks gorgeous at places. But the woman needs to join an acting school and get down to the basics of emoting with eyes and picking up the right throw of dialogue delivery. At the most moving emotion instances in the film, she utters words indistinctly while her dialogues robotically with spoon fed neatness.
Somehow despite their innate flaws, their chemistry manages to create a fluttering butterflies-in-your-stomach feeling. In fact, Mahesh Thakur and Shaad Randhava give above average performances in their limited roles.
Final Word: Aashiqui 2 Movie Review Coming to the factor whether one should watch this one, Yes, if you have not much else to do.
